THE TEAM

At THE ICONIC, innovation drives us; we believe that innovation should not be sitting in a siloed team but rather be part of everyone and everything we do & deliver. All of our teams are cross-functional, mission-driven and able to iterate from inception to production (DevOps mentality) without being blocked or having to ask permission from other teams. We love to move fast and validate learning using data (lucky for us our Data Science & Analytics team is also world-class!)

SCOPE OF ROLE

• Monitor platform health
• Maintain operational reliability tasks (patching, updates, automated checks)
• Improve reliability through automation and documentation
• Availability/uptime and SLOs for business-critical applications Lead SRE
• Work with peers in Platforms team to implement foundational infrastructure and technologies
• Support engineering and data teams in building and configuring observability and monitoring in their services and systems

WHAT IT TAKES

• Knowledge or capability to lean in key AWS technologies and Observability Datadog); and preferably: Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
• Proactive approach to staying up-to-date with the technologies used in our platform and emerging best practices.
