Senior Product Manager - SC Operations
Global Fashion Group (GFG) is the leading fashion and lifestyle destination in growth markets across LATAM, SEA and ANZ. Through Dafiti, ZALORA and THE ICONIC, we connect international, local and owned brands to more than 800 million consumers. Powered by technology, data and deep local expertise, we create seamless shopping experiences from discovery to delivery.
At GFG, you’ll build products at the heart of a fast-growing global marketplace business, solving meaningful problems across commerce, operations, and data. You’ll work with talented teams across 10+ countries and deliver a visible impact on both business performance and user experience.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Seller Center is GFG’s global marketplace platform, enabling brands to onboard, manage assortment, fulfil orders and grow their business across our platforms. It supports critical workflows across catalogue, inventory, fulfilment, order management, finance, reconciliation and seller experience.
As Senior Product Manager, Seller Center Operations, you will work on opportunities across the Seller Center experience. You will report to the Lead Product Manager, Partner Operations and collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics and regional stakeholders across our three regions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior individual contributor role focused on finding opportunities to improve Seller Center and the operational processes it supports. You will use data, partner and internal feedback, and regional context to understand problems, shape solutions and guide them from discovery through delivery and iteration.
You’ll decide which problems are worth solving, define what success looks like, and work with regional teams to build solutions that hold up across markets. We’re looking for someone who brings clarity to complexity: who understands a problem deeply before shaping a solution, and can explain why it’s the right one.
With marketplace contributing ~40% of GFG’s business, your work will have a visible impact across 20,000+ users globally.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Find the right problems: use data, seller insight and operational feedback to identify and size opportunities, including ones nobody has raised yet.
- Understand them deeply: spend time with sellers and regional teams to learn how work actually gets done, and where needs and constraints differ across markets.
- Define before you build: be clear on the problem, the users, the desired outcome and how success will be measured before committing to a solution.
- Prioritise with conviction: build and defend a roadmap based on user and business impact, and say no to work that won’t move the outcome.
- Shape purposeful solutions: work with engineering, design and analytics to explore options, make trade-offs and land on solutions that fit the problem.
- Lead from discovery to delivery: take work through discovery, delivery, launch and iteration, flagging risks and dependencies early with clear recommendations.
- Own the outcome: track how your products perform, learn from the results and change course when the evidence says so.
- Bring people with you: keep stakeholders aligned with clear, concise thinking on what we’re doing, why, and what we’ve learned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in product management, including times you set the direction rather than received it.
- A problem you identified that nobody had asked you to solve, and the outcome it led to.
- A time you reframed a stakeholder request, or stopped work, because the evidence pointed elsewhere.
- Strong analytical judgement: comfortable working from data and qualitative insight, and making calls when neither is complete.
- Experience aligning stakeholders across markets or functions who want different things.
- Preferred: e-commerce, marketplace or operational products.
