THE TEAM

At GFG, Technology is core to long-term success and is a crucial enabler of a great Customer Experience. We are a mix of experts in fashion, logistics, data analytics, marketing, and design, guided by business consultants and tech geniuses – everyone contributes to the success of GFG.

Our Engineering Department plans, builds and maintains the technology that drives high traffic ecommerce platforms. Our ability to deliver fast, safe and scalable solutions is critical in delivering first-class experiences to our customers. Our teams are organised by business domain and take ownership of everything they do in a you built it, you own it, model.

 

SCOPE OF ROLE

  • Develop, customize, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications using C/AL and AL programming language.
  • Collaborate with product owners and Business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Business Central C/AL solutions and extensions and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Business Central applications.
  • Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for custom solutions and updates.
  • Support and assist in the testing, debugging, and optimization of Business Central solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Business Central features, AL language advancements, and development tools.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • 2-4 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Experience in developing and deploying Business Central extensions and customizations.
  • Strong understanding of ERP concepts and Business Central modules (finance, sales, purchasing, etc.).
  • Experience with C/AL and AL-based development tools
  • Familiarity with web services and integration protocols (e.g., SOAP, REST).
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Experience with Github or other version control tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Ability to work as part of a scrum team.
